GENERAL LIMITATION INSURANCE

Protect the Insured's Assets in the event that he or she is held liable, judicially or via direct claim, for having caused involuntary Material and/or Bodily Damage to third parties.

In the corporate world, there are many more risks than those related to your company's assets and equipment. This understanding is essential when assessing the scenario in which your organization operates and preparing it to deal with unforeseen events that may jeopardize its survival.

Of course, having a policy designed to protect physical assets is important. But you also need to consider the risk of the company being legally obliged to pay for losses caused to third parties due to an incident. For this, you can count on General Liability Insurance.

In addition to the peace of mind that contracting provides, the good news is that this type of policy is more affordable than business owners imagine.

GENERAL LIMITATION INSURANCE COVERS:

RC OPERATIONS

It is one of the basic coverages of General Liability insurance. It covers damages caused to third parties originating in the premises owned by the insured.

Example: A fire originating in a factory reaches its neighbors, causing damage. The company will be held liable.

RC PRODUCTS

It is one of the additional coverages that covers damages caused to third parties by products for which the insured is responsible, after they have been delivered to their customers.

Example: A faulty washing machine started a fire that caused damage to a home. Repair costs are covered by this coverage.

RC WORKS

This is the coverage that covers damages caused to third parties during the execution of civil works and/or assembly/disassembly and installation services at third party locations.

Example: An installer, when installing the air conditioning,
accidentally broke a window with a ladder. The expenses generated by the accident are covered by this coverage.

RC PROVISION OF SERVICES AT THIRD PARTY LOCATIONS

It is the coverage that covers damages caused to third parties, in the places where the insured provides services and during the provision of such services.

Example: A service provider, while performing air conditioning maintenance, accidentally breaks a window with a ladder. The expenses generated by the accident are covered by this coverage.

Coverages:

With coverage for expenses with compensation established by the courts for involuntary material and/or bodily damage caused to third parties, General Civil Liability Insurance goes further. It is possible to extend coverage to defense costs, containment and rescue expenses, moral and aesthetic damages, as well as lost profits and/or financial losses resulting from covered material or bodily damages.
